Recording recollections from drummer Ben Kane: "It's super lo-fi, but the songs are really good and fun. We recorded it to Elaine's digital 4-track in a sheet metal fabrication shop where one of my old bands used to practice."

This is a split album. Pete did not play on the two "Big Thick Skin" songs, which are entitled "The Hard Way" and "I'm Lost" (those are just Elaine and Ben).

Around the time of this recording, There Is No Dana only played one live show as a band, which was at the Black Rock Bar in Chicago.

Not versed in much emo-skramz at all but this hit all my boxes at once in a simple one go and it haven't left that impression afterwards. It got it all, from the heartfelt vox to the equal solid instrumentations all along. Shapeshifting
